Millican Well Service has been family-owned and -operated since the early 20th century and is currently in its fourth generation of owner-operators. In the early 1900s, T.J. Millican founded T.J. Millican & Son to provide water services to Fort Worth and its surrounding areas. T.J. employed his son, Henry, in the family business at an early age; thus began the continual, familial ownership of his business. Soon after inheriting the business from his father, Henry changed its name to Henry C. Millican Water Wells and employed both of his sons, Dugan and Kenny, to handle the business’s daily operations. In 1977, Kenny took over the company and, once again, changed its name to Millican Well Service. Kenny’s daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Jerry Browning, bought the business in 2002 and continue to operate Millican Well Service under their predecessors’ principles.
Jerry has worked under both Henry and Kenny Millican and has nearly 35 years of experience in the water well industry. Charlotte has overseen the office’s operations for nearly 30 years. Jerry and Charlotte are currently grooming their youngest son, Jaythan, to become Millican Well Service’s fifth generation owner and operator. A 2009 Texas A&M University graduate, Jaythan expressed interest in the family business at an early age and has been employed by Millican Well Service for nearly 15 years. T.J. insisted upon proper record-keeping of his business’s operations since its beginnings. We currently have and utilize well logs from T.J. Millican & Son that date back to 1940. These records provide invaluable insight into present-day well site locations, well depths, and water flow.
Millican Well Service has been located in the Fort Worth area since its inception and currently serves the entire Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
We look forward to earning your business as much today as our founders did in the early 1940’s!
